Lake Whitney, Texas is another fantastic spot for some boondocking. Spaces are separated far enough where you don't even know others are there. Ended up being there for a week in March and only saw two other rigs. The lake itself is massive and has a bunch of stand alone trees that peak through the water. I took the kayak out multiple times and used the trees as anchors for some relaxing time out on the water. I couldn't find any trails, so ended up walking some of the perimeter of the lake.
Toilets available - no showers
Strong Verizon service
Only some of the spots have water spigots (check before setting up)
